Experience

Kristin Huston is an associate family law attorney with Cundy and Martin. Ms. Huston has over 10 years of legal experience, and devotes 100% of her practice to family law matters.  Ms. Huston represents clients in all stages of the negotiation and litigation process. Ms. Huston helps people with complex and simple divorce cases, establishment and modification of child custody, establishment and modification of child support, paternity, post-decree modifications of spousal maintenance, orders for protection (domestic abuse), harassment restraining orders, step-parent adoption, third-party custody actions, and grandparent visitation. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Huston worked as a judicial law clerk for several Minnesota District Court Judges in the First and Third Judicial Districts.

Educational Background

Ms. Huston received her law degree from Hamline University School of Law in 2000, and was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Minnesota in October 2000. Prior to entering law school, Ms. Huston graduated Cum Laude from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois in 1997, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in English and a minor in Philosophy.
